ADM Competition Results
The ADM business plan competition, held in 2009-2010, had the following results:
- More than 700 applications received in response to an open call for proposals.
- 58 finalists and their partners participated in a two-day Marketplace Event in Washington, D.C.
- 14 winning businesses were awarded matching grants of up to $100,000 each
- A total of $1.2 million of private equity was leveraged across seven sub-Saharan African countries.
